I wrote you a letter.
About how I miss you everyday.
About how I’m sorry.
I decorated it, each paragraph a different color of the rainbow… doodles up every blank space.
I tore out five different drawings from my sketchbook and carefully folded them. Tucked them alongside the letter.
I signed and dated it. Addressed it to you. Pressed my lipstick to it like you always used to.
And tucked it away instead of sending it off.
